Orland Park Fire Protection District responded about 2:45 p.m. Thursday to a crash involving a school bus and an SUV at La Grange Road and 144th Place in Orland Park. The location is just north of Orland Square. Twelve victims transported to Level I Trauma Center Christ Community Hospital and two other hospitals. All victims were transported to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Students involved in the crash are reported to be from High Point School, and were being transported home from school at the time of the crash.
