Arlington Heights police responded about 4:15 p.m. Monday to traffic and pedestrian hazards caused by train gates stuck in the down position in downtown Arlington Heights.
Police were waiting for a Union Pacific response to repair the malfunctioning train gates at 4:30 p.m.
Dunton, Vail, Walnut/Ridge and other crossings were affected.
