Arlington Heights police responded to assist Elk Grove Village police on a vehicle burglary case that ‘just occurred’ in the 700 block of Chelmsford Lane. The K-9 unit from Arlington Heights was called in to help with a search for the offender. Police were searching the neighborhood of Chelmsford Lane, including Boardwalk and Arlington Heights Road about 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
