Video of Code Pink activist attempting citizen’s arrest of Karl Rove, but being led of in handcuffs herself.
A woman is removed from a Borders book store Monday in Sacramento, California. The woman could be heard shouting: ‘Karl Rove is a war criminal! Karl Rove is a war criminal!’ as she was lead out of the Borders shop.
Prior to the book signing, Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans had said: ‘We are demanding accountability from Karl Rove who lied to get us into the war and outed CIA agent Valerie Plame.’
Similar incidents have recently occurred in Las Vegas and Beverly Hills. Last month, Jodie Evans attempted a citizen’s arrest on Rove at a book signing in Las Vegas – where she attempted to put handcuffs on him before she was removed from the site. A similar incident occurred in March in Beverly Hills, when Rove was heckled by protesters at a signing.
