Arlington Heights police received a report from a homeowner about 10:45 p.m. Saturday that four black males and two white females were exiting the house of the homeowner in the 1200 block of North Ridge as the homeowner returned home.
The offenders were described as 16-18 years-old. At least one offender had a bicycle, and they were last seen headed northbound on Ridge Avenue and then west through the property of the Lutheran Home. The homeowner immediately checked part of the home and first discovered that a break-in occurred at the back door.
Several police squads searched the area. The Lutheran Home security service was called to help assist with a search of their property. No word on any arrests.
