Des Plaines police responded to a home invasion about 11:10 p.m. Wednesday on Potter (unknown numeric address). The offender was described as a male/black about 31 years-old, 5’10” 185 LBS and wearing a baseball cap with sheriff’s police on the front, and a navy blue sweatshirt with writing on it. The offender displayed a handgun and left the gun inside the residence. The offender fled with two plastic bags.
