Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:30 a.m. Saturday of a suspect attempting to find a bike to steal at the train station bike rack 45 West Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights. At first he appeared to be attempting to find an unsecured bike, but he also appeared to be attempting to use a tool on a bike just before police arrived on the scene. Police met with the suspect. No known arrest at the train depot.
The subject was wearing a black and red knit hat and was carrying a bunch of plastic bags.
