An Arlington Heights police officer on patrol arrived on the scene of an auto accident between a Cook County Sheriff’s police squad car and a passenger car just before 10:30 p.m. Monday at Central and Arlington Heights Road. Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics checked on a passenger, but no word on whether anyone was transported to a hospital.

Cook County Sheriff’s police are investigating the accident.
