A large amount of smoke seen near Interstate 90 and Route 59 is a controlled burn in the Cook County Forest Preserve in the area. A large amount of smoke was visible about 5:00 p.m. Saturday. The brush burns were mostly north and west of the I-90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway, formerly Northwest Tollway) and Route 59 interchange.
