Amilkar “Tony” Caro — “Armed and Dangerous”
UPDATE: Elgin police charged Alexis I. Cruz, 18, of the 1300 block of Dakota St., Elgin, with felony obstruction of justice in the murder of victim identified as Hugo A. Navarro, 29, Thursday morning at 774 Adams.
Elgin police are investigating the shooting death of a 29-year-old Elgin man who was found lying unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds on the sidewalk in front of the house at 774 Adams just after 2:00 a.m. Thursday.
Police are looking for help in the capture of Amilkar “Tony” Caro. Caro is described as a male/Hispanic, 32 years-old, 5’7″ 180 LBS, with black hair and brown eyes. Caro’s last known address was on the 1300 block of Dakota Drive in Elgin.
Citizens are asked to contact the Elgin Police Department at (630) 289-2700 with information that could aid in his capture.
