The Arlington Heights Target store will be starting construction inside the existing building any day now to upgrade its facility. The store will be expanding its grocery offerings, and will be moving it grocery aisles to the south side of the store. Currently the store at Rand and Thomas in Arlington Heights has pantry aisles on the north side of the store.
The Target store is known for wider, brighter aisles than many other retailers. The fitting room area will be reduced in size to make room for greater retail space for groceries. The construction is expected to be completed sometime in April 2010.
