Buffalo Grove police received a report just before 9:00 a.m. Tuesday of a burglary-in-progress to an apartment in the 800 block of Miller Lane. The report informed police that a woman in a blue sweater was using a tool to attempt to break in to a front interior hallway door to an apartment. When police arrived, they found an open patio door to the affected apartment. No word on arrests.
