Arlington Heights police and Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics responded to a one-car crash behind the Jewel at 122 North Vail Avenue about 6:00 p.m. Tuesday. Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics responded with two rescue-ambulances to transport two patients to Northwest Community Hospital (presumed).
Arlington Heights police are investigating what caused a woman to leave the roadway and strike a post that protects utility services equipment at the back of the Jewel.
