A woman walked out to her vehicle parked in the 1200 block of East Northwest Highway about 8:20 a.m. Friday to find a male/white attempting to burglarize her car. The offender was described as a male/white wearing a black vest with a long sleeve blue shirt and jeans.
The suspect was also described as 5′ 8″ 150 lbs with short, sandy color hair, wavy with freckles.
The suspect was last seen walking in the alley toward Walgreens.
AHPD conducting a thorough police search in the area of Dryden and Northwest Highway Avenue — including inside Walgreens.
Police caught up with a subject, a male in his late 20’s in an alley north of the 1300 block of East Northwest Highway. Subject was transported to Arlington Heights police headquarters.
