Alsip Police Department, Other Agencies in High Speed Pursuit Overnight

Alsip Police Department, the Illinois State Police, Oak Forest and other area local police departments involved in a chase with a pickup truck from about 2:00 a.m. until 2:40 a.m. Saturday. A male black driver was wanted — suspected of being the offender involved in unlawful discharge of a weapon. A second person was lying down in the vehicle during the pursuit. At one point during the pursuit, one of the suspects tossed a paper bag out the truck window — possibly containing a gun involved in unlawful discharge of weapon.
