Arlington Heights police and firefighters were called about 6:30 a.m. Thursday to rescue a middle-aged man who was trapped under a garage door in the 1500 block of North Windsor. Arlington Heights police arrived first and found a man unconscious under the garage door. The police officer was able to lift the garage door off of the man after a neighbor or passerby led police to the man.
The man was transported to Northwest Community Hospital Thursday morning.
