Vending Machine Break-in at South Jewel-Osco

Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday of a break-in to a vending machine at the front of the Jewel-Osco, 1860 South Arlington Heights Road.

A male Hispanic, 17-20 years-old, got out of a dark gray or dark green Mazda3 and broke into a vending machine, apparently only stealing pop, not money.

The offender was described as being male/Hispanic, 17 to 20 years old, 5’8″ 150 skinny build, wearing a gray flannel-type hoodie and baggie pants or sweat pants. He is also described as having short black hair and being clean-shaven. He was last seen driving the Mazda 4-door northbound Highland Avenue from Golf Road near the area of Juliette Low Elementary School, 1530 South Highland Avenue.
