Wheeling Police Department received a report of a drive-by shooting in the area of Wolf Road and Dundee Road about 7:40 p.m. Address given for the unlawful use of a weapon was in the 0-99 block of North Wolf Road.
Two vehicles possibly involved. Once offending vehicle described as a dark green minivan — a Ford Aerostar with tinted windows and three to four male/Hispanic occupants. Another vehicle reported to be involved was an older model red/maroon Buick with rear tinted windows with three-four male/Hispanic occupants.
A .45 semi-automatic handgun was used in the drive-by shooting, which apparently did not strike any people. The vehicles were last seen northbound Wolf Road.
