Gypsy Scam/Residential Burglary Reported in Elk Grove

Elk Grove Village police put out an alert to local police officers to be on the look out for two white males in a black newer model GMC van that were involved in a gypsy scam of an elderly woman near Greenbriar Street and Crest Avenue. Both males were described as being in their 40’s. One of the white/males distracted the elderly female while the other white/male burglarized her home near Greenbriar Street and Crest Avenue. The black, full-sized van was last seen in the area with the two males inside the van. The area is just east of Arlington Heights Road and about three blocks south of Higgins Road in Elk Grove Village.
