Wheeling Fire Department quickly put out a house fire and rescued a resident of a single family residence in the 400 block of Denover Trail near Dundee Road and McHenry just after 7:30 a.m.
Fire departments from Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Lincolnshire, and Prospect Heights assissted Wheeling Fire Department.
Wheeling Fire Department transported at least one person to Northwest Community Hospital.
