Arlington Heights police received a report just after 10 a.m. Sunday that Jewel staff at the Vail Street Market Jewel, 122 North Vail Avenue, were holding an uncooperative male shoplifter near the front of the store. Arlington Heights police officers responded, and one male was taken into custody for retail theft.
