Two Street Robberies in Schaumburg Result in Arrests

A street robbery or mugging was reported to Schaumburg police near Knollwood Drive and Bode Road at about 7:45 p.m. Sunday. A BB gun was used as a threat in the street robbery.

A second mugging (no weapon was displayed) was reported about 20 minutes later near the intersection of Walnut Lane and Bode Road.

Apple iPods were reported stolen from minors in the neighborhood.

A Schaumburg boy from another neighborhood of Schaumburg and a Hanover Park boy were arrested shortly after the second incident was reported.

Schaumburg Police Department also received a report of an armed robbery on the street at Aimtree Place and Sagamore just before 6:00 p.m. Saturday.
