Elmhurst Road is under water from Golf Road to Algonquin Road in the Mount Prospect – Des Plaines area.
People stranded in their cars. Mount Prospect Fire Department is helping people out of their cars. Strong smell of gasoline or fuel reported in the area. Mount Prospect Fire Department is helping people out of their cars. Fire department divers called to be on standby.

Busse Road flooded with at least 2.5 feet of water under I-90 bridge.
People stranded in their cars.

1800 block of South Elmhurst … people reported affected by fumes.
