Armed Robbery Citibank Hoffman Estates, Robber Flees in Bank Employee’s Car

UPDATE: Nissan Altima found Tuesday morning about 9:00 a.m. in the 5100 block of Trillium Boulevard near the Sears Centre partially concealed in tall weeds and grass.

A bank robber armed with a big stick robbed the Citibank at 2550 North Sutton Road in Hoffman Estates at about 1:00 p.m. Saturday.

The bank robber is described as a white, male in his 40’s with a large build, wearing a brown mask and a plaid shirt.

The bank robber fled in a bank employee’s personal vehicle described as black 2003 Nissan Altima. The Nissan Altima was last seen entering the Interstate 90 interchange at Sutton Road.
