A toy poodle reported stolen from Happiness Is Pets, 15 West Golf Road in Arlington Heights, just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. A male/white driver fled in a late model black Nissan 4-door sedan and possibly headed southbound on Arlington Heights Road.
A white pregnant woman wearing a white sweatshirt and black pants was possibly involved as a second subject (accomplice) and acted to distract store personnel while the male suspect left with the dog. Three children also accompanied the suspects.
