SUN JUL 06 2008 — Vandals caused a car fire after they placed firecrackers in the interior of a parked car near Rockwell and Belmont Avenue in Scarsdale in Arlington Heights. Vandals also tossed a “stink bomb” in another car and a reactive substance in a sewer in the neighborhood, which caused a mini-geyser to gush up from manhole cover.
