Arlington Heights Man Charged with Sixth DUI, Driving Without a License

Steven N. Salzman, 44, was charged with his sixth DUI Friday after running a red light at Arlington Heights Road and Central Road about 3:30 p.m. Salzman license had been revoked because of prior DUI convictions.

Since 1983, Salzman has been convicted 22 times after being arrested 38 times for offenses including battery and disorderly conduct — mostly alcohol-related.




Salzman, who lives in the 400 block of South Forrest Avenue has now been arrested 10 times for driving on a revoked license.

Arlington Heights Police called for paramedics to the jail when Salzman experienced medical problems during booking. Arlington Heights Fire Department paramedics transported Salzman to Northwest Community Hospital.

Court appearance is February 28 at the Rolling Meadows courthouse.
