Chicago Snow: Major Snow Storm Developing, More School Closings Expected by Morning

Tom Skilling was on target early with this storm forecast — predicting 6 inches with the potential for more snow (6-10 inches possible was in the Wednesday forecast). The low pressure snow machine is just beginning to pick up Gulf moisture with peak snowfall rates expected during the morning rush hour Friday.

More school closings are expected to be announced by morning. School closings and other closings can be found at the Emergency Closing Center (emergencyclosings.com) from WGN/Chicago Tribune.
