Firefighter prepares to extinguish fire with a pump can (fire extinguisher) at the rear loading dock of Patio World near Dryden and Rand Road.
A witness reported 5 or 6 youths in black hoodies — one on a bike — leaving the scene of a fire set at the back loading dock area of Patio World, 1213 East Rand Road in Arlington Heights. The fire was extinguished quickly by one engine company from Arlington Heights Fire Department within minutes about 6:40 p.m. Friday.
