Tank Johnson Speeding Arrest Brings Possible DUI Charge

JUN 23 2007 — GILBERT, AZ Gilbert, Arizona police pulled Chicago Bears Tank Johnson over for speeding (40 m.p.h. in a 25 m.p.h. zone) at 3:30 a.m. Friday and then cited him for “being impaired to the slightest degree.” There will be a two week wait period to determine if the blood alcohol level tested constitutes a DUI or a lesser charge.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has already told Johnson that his eight-game suspension would be reduced to six games if he had no further contact with the law.
