Criminal Damage to Property with Possible Drano Bombs

Possible handmade bombs with Drano and aluminum foil were tossed at a car and
a house near East Peachtree Lane and North Waterman Avenue just north of
Lake Arlington [MAP/SAT].

Two bottles were detonated in the front yard of a house in this neighborhood.

WARNING NOTE: Domestic alkali drain cleaner burns involving the hand and forearm are common. Victims that fail to do immediate water lavage at home can suffer severe burn wounds that ultimately require excision and grafting. Cosmetic results are rarely excellent.

Burns occuring on the face are devastating. Exposure to the eyes could cause blindness. Skin damage could cause permanent scarrring.

Mixing drain cleaner with unknown chemicals from used containers could cause gases to be released that could cause serious injury or death.
