Nicole Richie was arrested for DUI early Monday morning (Dec. 11, 2006). She was booked at 4:50 a.m. today and was released around 7:15 a.m. this morning. The booking sheet reveals Richie is 5’1″ and 85 lbs.
Two motorists called 911 after spotting her SUV going the wrong way on the 134 Ventura Freeway in Burbank [MAP]. Callers described the offending driver as a male. She entered the Ventura Freeway on an off-ramp near Griffith Park and then traveled eastbound in the westbound lanes. When police responded, Nicole Richie was stopped in a carpool lane talking on a cellphone. She admitted to California Highway Patrol officers that she had taken Vicodin and had smoked marijuana. An alcohol screening device tested negative for alcohol.
In 2003, Nicole Richie pled guilty to heroin possession and charges were dismissed after she completed her probation.
