Four people died in a plane crash near Wolf Road and Alderman Avenue in Prospect Heights about 6:30 p.m. Monday night. The twin engine Cessna crashed into the lot of a business that makes concrete materials for new home construction. There was a large fire that was quickly extinguished by fire departments from Prospect Heights, Wheeling, Arlington Heights and Northbrook.
