Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:31 AM Wednesday to a report of crash with injuries and entrapment in front of Portillo’s, 611 East Golf Road Schaumburg, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a person involved in a crash could not open the vehicle door.
A second ambulance was requested at about 11:39 a.m.
A patient in one of the cars was extricated at 11:40 a.m. Extrication involved opening a smashed door.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash hit a fire hydrant.
