Buffalo Grove police received a request for an Outside Department Assist from Barrington Hills Police Department about 6:20pm Monday, December 5, 2011. Barrington Hills police requested Buffalo Grove police officers check for a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run crash in their community and was expected to be parked in the 800 block of Miller Lane. The vehicle and driver were located by Buffalo Grove police and turned over to a Barrington Hill Police Officer.
