Another Air Crash: World War II Plane Crashes at Martinsburg, West Virginia’s ‘Thunder Over the Blue Ridge’ Air Show

No spectators were reported injured when a World War II-era plane crashed at a West Virginia air show and burst into flames on Saturday. The pilot’s name and condition have not been released.

A Trojan Horsemen aircraft, T-28 Trojan Horsemen Warbird Formation Acrobatic Team, crashed about 2:40 p.m. during Saturday’s ‘Thunder Over the Blue Ridge’ open house and airshow in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

The crash occurred one day after an air race pilot in Nevada crashed at an air race there, killing nine people.
