Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas was imploded with over 2,700 pounds of dynamite today. The stadium was reduced to rubble by multiple detonations in less than a minute. The Dallas Cowboys played for 38 years in Texas Stadium, and won all five of their Super Bowl titles there. Emmitt Smith broke Walter Payton’s rushing record there in 2002. Banners for A & R Demolition, Dykon and Demolicious went down with the structure.
