Ten Percent Rise in Traffic Deaths Becomes an “Immediate Crisis”

In the first half of 2016, an estimated 17,775 people were killed in traffic accidents. That’s up 10.5% compared to the same time last year. Kris Van Cleave reports.

Traffic deaths are up 10.4 percent compared to 2015,which already recorded the largest in fatalities since 1966.

Texting, drugs, fatigue are likely causes.
