Hazmat Response for Cloudy Substance in Water at Hasbrook Park Reservoir on West Maude Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:02 AM Wednesday to a HazMat Level 1 incident at Hasbrook Park, 333 West Maude Avenue First responders received a report that a white, cloudy, silky material was flowing into the reservoir pond on the north side of the pond.

Firefighters investigated with public works and determined that the discolored water was flowing in from a broken water main a few blocks away.
