The Village of Arlington Heights Health Services will be offering flu shots for seasonal influenza by appointment only on Thursday, September 27 from 5-7 p.m. and Friday, September 28, from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road. Appointments can be made by calling 847-253-5532.
The vaccine is injectable and approved for ages 6 months and up. There are no residency requirements. The cost for the vaccine with be $20 or is billable to Medicare for those with Medicare Part B as their primary insurance. For children under 18 years of age the cost is $10.
