Evanston police responded to a gang-related shooting 12:30 AM Saturday in the 1800 block of Lyons Street. Police report that the victim was shot by an unknown offender while he was walking with three other individuals.
Police and firefighter/paramedics found the 20-year-old victim lying in front of a residence with two superficial gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to NorthShore Evanston Hospital where he was treated and released.
Police are investigating, but the victim is reported to be uncooperative.
