Reckless Driver Throws Object at Another Car, Smashes Window on Wilke, Near Euclid Ave

Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:37 a.m. of reckless driving with drivers throwing things at each other near Wilke and Euclid. Police received a report that a black sedan and a gray SUV were involved. The gray SUV possible fled the scene while the black sedan was still in the area. About three minutes later, a Cook County Sheriff’s police deputy reported they were out with the victim in a rolling battery.

After the apparent offender in the incident fled, a witness saw the black sedan, possibly a Kia, a man in a blue shirt, and a woman holding a poodle while talking to police. The victim’s vehicle was stopped facing southbound on Wilke Road. An evidence technician was called to the scene to photograph damage to the black sedan. A witness reported a window was broken on the black sedan.
