An Arlington Heights police officer made a traffic stop on a stolen minivan Tuesday afternoon about 1:40 p.m. on Dundee Road in front of Arlington Toyota. A male driver was arrested and transported to the Arlington Heights Police Department jail. The vehicle that was reported stolen was a green Chevy Astro van with significant damage all around the vehicle. There was also white paint transfer on the vehicle.
The vehicle was impounded and police are attempting to notify the owner. Buffalo Grove Police Department assisted Arlington Heights Police Department at the scene.
