Palatine police responded about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday to a report of shots fired in the 1900 block of Green Lane North. About 12 shots were reported heard in the area with three people — all wearing white and possibly male/Hispanics — running southbound toward Dundee and Baldwin. A 2-door maroon Lincoln may have been involved in the incident, and was last seen heading northbound on Baldwin.
