Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 4:56 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2025 to a report of a rollover crash with with two people upside down in a Honda at Rand Road and the entrance to the Annex of Arlington shopping center near Trader Joe’s
Arlington Heights Fire Department Battalion 1 on arrival reported a vehicle upside down on its roof. No extrication was required, and the driver of the rolled car was transported to Northwest Community Hospital with injuries that initially appeared to be non-life-threatening.
A second ambulance was requested about 5:04 p.m. Both patients were removed from the vehicle by 5:07 p.m.
The crash was affecting traffic in both directions. Rand Road (US-12 EAST) was completely blocked, and there were traffic delays on US-12 WEST.
The two patients in the rolled over Honda refused medical transportation.
