Propane Tank Gas Leak at Arlington Park COVID-19 Testing Site Arlington Heights

Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 11:18 a.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021 to a report of a leak from a propane gas tank at the COVID-19 testing site at Arlington International Racecourse, 2200 West Euclid Avenue in Arlington Heights.

The immediate proximity was evacuated and at least part or all of the COVID019 testing was interrupted.

The first fire unit on arrival reported that it did not appear that the propane gas leak was active.

Winds were 9-16 MPH from the West at 11:25 a.m.
