Acton Beale, 20, Killed Apparently While ‘Planking’ in Brisbane, Queensland

Australian police say a man who plunged seven floors to his death from an apartment balcony was participating in an Internet, Facebook, YouTube craze known as “Planking”.

Acton Beale, 20, fell from a seventh floor apartment balcony in Brisbane, Queensland, after he apparently tried to ‘plank’ on some railings.

Planking involves people laying face down in unusual or sensational places while someone else takes a photo or video. Planking is a huge craze in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.
