Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:20 p.m. Saturday that an offender kicked in a front door of a home in the 400 block of West Wing Street. The offender was described as a teen with dark hair, about 5’6″ or 5’7″ and wearing a brown jacket.

The resident of the home chased the offender toward the offender’s car, which was occupied by three other people. The car was described as a medium blue car — possibly a Chevrolet Cavalier. The offender fled eastbound on Wing Street and then northbound on Vail Avenue.

Arlington Height police are investigating.
