Police from Libertyville, Mundelein, and Vernon Hills notified area departments about 12:57 a.m. Thursday that their community hair and nail salons were being hit by multiple smash and grab burglary incidents since 12:03 a.m. Thursday. Police reported front doors have been smashed and cash was grabbed from the business locations. No specific locations were available.
