Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:57 a.m. Sunday to a report of a tree that was set on fire in the 2200 block of Chilmark Lane. Police and firefighters received a report that the fire appeared to be extinguished. Firefighters and police called for a fire investigator after they arrived on the scene.

Arlington Heights police and firefighters responded about 6:45 p.m. Friday for a power line on a tree in 1100 block of North Dunton Avenue. There was a small fire in the tree. Stoplights out on Arlington Heights Road at Thomas and Olive, and a power failure in the area.
